Lamaze Childbirth Education - A first in NZ!

Lamaze has a primary goal - to build a mother's confidence in her ability to give birth. This is achieved through the presentation of evidence-based childbirth education classes. Lamaze supports pregnant women’s understanding of how to cope with pain in ways that both facilitate labour and promote comfort, through supportive relaxation techniques, movement and massage.

Based on the six healthy birth practices - Lamaze Childbirth Education is a first in NZ!

Currently the only certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator in NZ (LCCE), my classes are evidence based and realistic - with a holistic undertone (see below).

I completed my training in Brisbane 2018, through Tanya Strusberg @BirthwellBirthright & became certified in July 2019.

Learn more about the induction of labour and find out how to keep labour as natural as possible if you have a medical reason to be induced.
